CHRONIC LAMENESS
It's no fun to have a horses that is "off" all the time, chronically lame. Whatever the cause, it can be quite mysterious to find, solve, or help the problem. Basically it is considered a musculo-skeletal system condition and it affects the overall health and conditon of the horse.
CHRONIC LAMENESS
It always has a pain component - either a lot or a little. It also affects the ability of your horse to move bio-mechanically correctly and comfortably (aka pain free).
Your horse either moves well or doesn't. Your horse either performs well, or doesn't. Think of it as sound vs. lame (aka unsound).
Most people tend to think of lameness in terms of something going on with a horse's foot or leg. Things like sprains, strains, abscesses, and arthritic joints can all be common causes.
3 types of lamenesses:
"Body Lameness" ➡ "Chronic Lameness" ➡ "Positional Lameness"
All 3 of these have the same 3 basic needs. Relief from pain, good nutrition management, and building tissue integrity/strength.
#1 Relief from pain
- ANTIFLAM™ helps this as an all-natural anti-inflammatory (internally) and TETDA™ helps to draw out soreness (externally).
#2 Good nutrition management - MINEREQ™ provides essential minerals, trace elements, vitamins, and antioxidants to support the body's metabolic processes. Commercial feeds don't always meet your horse's requirements. GLS POWDER supplies glucosamine plus essential trace minerals for joint health. HA-180™ is also used to help joint health.
#3 Building soft tissue strength and integrity can be helped with SINEW-X +HA™ (no MSM) or SINEW-X™ (contains MSM). Both are used to support or maintain healthy joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments and help to reduce inflammation. For severe mobility problems they can both be used in conjuction with ANTIFLAM™.

If you have a mysterious or chronic lameness problem, these products are safe to use at all times, but we do suggest to use them a couple of hours away from dosing medications (to allow the meds to do their job, effectively).
